Inventory Analyst

This position is located in Waukesha, WI

We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory control coordinator. In this position, you will manage inventory using a computerized Warehouse Management System. Your primary objective will be to maintain accurate counts of all in-progress inventory, with a focus on processing production scrap.

  • Oversee inventory according to company guidelines: Assist in inventory reconciliations and counts.
  • Conduct Production Line Scrap Processing: Collect and sort scrapped valves and sub-components from all production lines. Accurately record all scrap data in the business system for information to be easily analyzed.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory: Process inventory adjustments when needed.
  • Facilitate material movement when quality issues are found: Work with the Quality Engineers and Supply Chain Analyst to handle all PNCR-related items and disposition material according to direction provided.
  • Maintain and organize quality hold locations: Ensure products are moved to appropriate positions, as defined by work instruction. Make sure areas stay organized and raise any issues that may arise.
  • Strong Team Player and Contributor: Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high-pressure atmosphere. Combines strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Must have a willingness to help in other areas around the plant as needed and be willing to be trained on a forklift.


  • Associate Degree or High School Diploma with up to 1-year hands-on experience in a related field.
  • Prior experience resolving inventory variances using investigative processes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use effective communication with internal customers during challenging situations.
  • Experience with using WMS, and imputing data into system.
  • Exhibit good judgment, common sense, and decision-making skills and ability. Must be flexible in terms of handling multiple and varied tasks that contribute directly to the effectiveness/quality of the company and all employees.
  • Effective organizational skills. Able to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and handle conflict in an effective manner.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products. Accurate typing/computer data entry with above average attention to detail.
  • Forklift experience or will to learn how to use a forklift.
